Major League Baseball Hall-of-Famer Herb Pennock is listed in the above Wenonah Military Academy Honor Roll (Class of 1911). Herb started in the major leagues pitching for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1912. His hall-of-fame plaque in Cooperstown, NY notes the jump from prep school (Wenonah Military Academy) to the majors.
